The month of October 2023 is here and just about gone; the month of December, a festive season is just around the corner. A pertinent question is, what kind of food will you be consuming during the festive season? Safe and healthy food or toxic and unhealthy food?

This month’s article is a continuation from last month’s article; it reminds us that we have a choice on what foods to eat; are we making informed choices on the foods we consume? Do we know the negative or positive effects of these foods on our health and the health of plants and animals?

• Here is a powerful video that summarizes why Roundup weed killer also called glyphosate is harmful to the entire ecosystem. Most consumers, world over, don’t know that up to 90% percent of all GMOs use this herbicide/pesticide. This is in addition to widespread use in hybrid maize and cotton growing, among other crops, with increasing use over the last three decades, since it discovery and patenting by Monsanto, now Bayer.
